Carlie McCleary joined Christmann Legal as an Associate Attorney after graduating with a Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School in 2022. She earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Iowa State University. Carlie practices exclusively Immigration and Nationality law.
During her time at Drake University, Carlie participated in the law school's Refugee Legal Clinic. She was Vice President of Drake Law Women and a recipient of the Public Service Certificate. Carlie continued her practical experience in immigration law while clerking for non-profits and private law firms and aims to channel her experience and passion for cultural diversity into her practice at Christmann Legal.
